KPK Lawmakers called on Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: The delegation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's provincial assembly members headed by Speaker Mehmood Jan on Thursday called on Governor Balochistan Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai here at Governor House.

The Governor on this occasion apprised KPK MPAs about Balochistan's history, culture and law and order situation in the province.

He said law enforcement agencies had played a remarkable role for restoration of peace in Balochistan adding civil society and security agencies were on same page, due to which situation returned to normalcy.

The Governor said that the law and order situation at the border of Afghanistan and Iran was also under control.

In response to a question, he said provincial government had been focusing on provision of basic facilities to general public and elimination of poverty and unemployment from Balochistan.

“We believe that through socio-economic development, we will succeed in removing the feeling of deprivation from Baloch youth”, he opined.

Yasinzai said that incumbent government was taking concrete measures for eradication of all kinds of social evils including corruption.

Later, memorable shields and souvenirs were also exchanged between Governor Balochistan and KPK Lawmakers.
