Literary activities healthy sign of intellectually developed nations: President

The president said this while addressing 3rd Sindh Literature Festival being held in Karachi, said a President House statement.

He said it was highly commendable that literary programmes were being organised in the city after improvement of the law and order there. He recalled that some days back, Oxford Adabi Festival was also held at the Governor House Karachi.

The president appreciated the efforts of the organisers for regularly holding the festival.

Later, he also visited different stalls exhibiting different books as well as the cultural artifacts.

He was also presented a Sindhi cap and Ajrak, besides a memento by the organisers.
