Govt takes measures for resolving masses’ problems: Farman Ali

ASTORE: Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Farman Ali on Tuesday said the provincial government was taking effective steps for resolving masses’ problems at the earliest.

Talking in a meeting with a delegation that called on him, the provincial minister said education played crucial role in uplift of the society so measures were being made to provide access to each resident of the region to get quality education by expanding network of educational institutions.

He said steps were also being taken for food security and wheat depot had been constructed to store wheat for meeting food requirements. The construction of vocational school was in process in Sakmal to prepare the region’s youth in line with market’s requirements, he added.
