KSE-100 index gains 362 points
ISLAMABAD: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) gained 361.91 points (0.93%) Thursday to close at 38,692.69 points.
A total of 102,335,140 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 6.253 billion.
Out of 342 companies, share prices of 232 companies recorded increase while that of 86 companies registered decrease whereas 24 companies remained stable in today’s trading.
BOP was the volume leader with 13,369,500 shares, and its per share price increased by Rs .45 to close at Rs 12.24 per share.
WTL remained the runner up with 9,808,000 shares traded during the day and its price inched up by Rs 0.04 per share to close at Rs 1.36 followed by KEL, trading volume of which was recorded 9,475,000 shares, and its price per share also increased by Rs 0.21 and closed at Rs5.87.
