Former captain says Hasanain could be the ‘answer’ to Pakistan pace woes
Pakistan former captain and cricket commentator Ramiz Raja has stated that Mohammad Hasnian, who is currently representing the Quetta Gladiators at the ongoing Pakistan Super League, could emerge as future ‘bowling asset’ for the country.
“Hassnain bowled up to 150kph (against Multan Sultans on Friday), if we work on him and improve his fitness, and allow him to acquire more cricketing knowledge, then he has the potential to emerge as a bowling asset for Pakistan.
“Especially in Test cricket, where we need an out and out fast bowler, Mohammad Hasnain can be the answer,” said Raja, while talking at Ramiz Speaks.
Hasanain, the Hyderabad born teenager was exceptionally quick against Multan Sultans with the bruised thigh he gave Malik, and ended up his hostile bowling spell with figures of 1-20 in four overs.
Hasnain bowled 151kph against Sultans, in doing so he bowled the fastest recorded delivery in PSL 2019.
Your biggest competition is the man in the mirror, Mohammad Hasnain serves to prove just that!! 1⃣4⃣9⃣kph and now 1⃣5⃣1⃣kph! #QuettaGladoators #KaiKaiQuetta #PurpleForce #psl2019 pic.twitter.com/fYD6yV8n0E
