Google celebrates Women’s Day with inspirational quotes from women

Like always, Google is not missing out on celebrating an international event and this time it is celebrating International Women’s Day through its Google Doodle by featuring inspirational quotes from women across the globe.

To mark International Women’s Day being observed today (March 8), Google Doodle has changed its logo into a really colorful one that features the word ‘Woman’ written in various languages including English, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese and more.

Google Doodle has further illustrated famous quotes from 13 different inspirational women including Indian boxer Mary Kom, Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, American astronaut and physician Mae Jemison and British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.

As per CNET, Google’s focus for celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day was ‘women empowering women’ and hence commissioned 10 female artists and design studios from around the world to illustrates the quotes of all these notable women.
