MQM-P blames Sindh Govt of conspiring to divide Karachi

KARACHI: Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui Friday accused Sindh Government of conspiring to divide Karachi on administrative basis and vowed to resist the move to carve out new districts in the metropolis.

Addressing press conference Dr. Siddiqui, who is also Federal Minister Information Technology said that Sindh Government has already divided the city on ethnic lines on the artificial majority.

He said that implementation of 18th amendment was not done in letter and spirit and described the local government system of Sindh in contravention to article 140-A of the constitution.

He appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to pay heed to injustices being done to Sindh.
