KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 20,748.93 points with a negative change of -283.25 and volume of 47,199,600 shares. High and Low were 21,190.22 and 20,708.19 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 2 were up, 28 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 70,809,410 shares. Total companies traded were 338 of which 109 were positive, 215 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Cable and Electrical Goods was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,454,150 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 12,888,600 shares.
