ISLAMABAD: Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved 9 million US dollars to support the government in accelerating urban sector projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
In a statement, ADB's Director for the Central and West Asia Department's Urban Division Yong Ye said this project readiness financing will support the first two phases of the proposed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project.
He said that the proposed projects will help the cities of Abbottabad, Kohat, Mardan, Peshawar, and others in the province to improve access to quality urban services.
