Veena Malik takes a sly dig at Indian PM Modi
Pakistani actress Veena Malik has been grabbing headlines for making controversial statements over Pakistan and India's now subdued tensions and this time she has called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘stupid’ in a recent tweet.
Veena shared an article of an Indian professor Ashok Swain, in which it was written that Air India has been affected more than any other airline due to the closure of Pakistan airspace. She shared the article with the caption, “Told you guys… he’s stupid”.

Her tweet also invited some unwanted hatred from Indians as they started bashing the Pakistani actress who has also worked in many projects in India.
In another recent interview with a local media channel, Veena openly discussed her experience in neighboring India, which has helped her to mature up as an individual but she doesn’t want to work in India anymore, she added. “I stopped working in India on my own choice not because of threats. I never focused on threats it’s not like I came back to Pakistan because of threats. I choose to work there and I also decided to stop working there,” she said.
“One of the biggest reasons I stopped working in India was that you can give your entire life to their entertainment industry but they will never recognise the efforts of a Pakistani artist in their history; for as long as I work in Pakistan, even after my death, I will be remembered,” she added.
Veena further said she got an opportunity to work with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan but she never wants to work in India now.
