PM condemns incident of firing on eminent Islamic Scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned the incident of firing on eminent Islamic Scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani.

In a statement on Friday, he said attack on leading personality like Muhammad Taqi Usmani is a serious conspiracy and every effort will be made to expose this.

He said religious leader like Muhammad Taqi Usmani are asset of not of the country and the Muslim world.

He said provincial governments should ensure foolproof security of Ulema. Imran Khan expressed satisfaction on reports that Mufti Taqi Usmani remained safe in the attack and expressed grief over the demise of his security guard.
