Pakistan shares preliminary findings with India on Pulwama incident, sought more evidence
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has shared preliminary findings with the India after examining its ‘dossier’ on Pulwama incident and sought further evidence to take the process forward, Foreign Office said.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal, the preliminary findings on Pulwama incident were shared with Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad Ajay Bisaria who was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua on Wednesday.
Earlier on February 27, India had handed over a ‘dossier’ on ‘specific details’ of the alleged involvement of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in the Pulwama incident to Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New Delhi Sohail Mahmood, who was summoned to Ministry of External Affairs.
More than 40 Indian paramilitary troops were killed in a suicide attack on February in Pulwama, Indian occupied Kashmir, for which India had accused the JeM as responsible for the attack.
