RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazilian oil production dropped in February, while natural gas production remained roughly flat from the same month a year ago, the nation's ANP oil regulator said on Tuesday.
According to the ANP, Brazil produced 2.489 million barrels per day of oil in February, down 5.4 percent from January and 4.9 percent from the same period last year. The nation produced 110,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, the regulator said, down 2.7 percent from January, but up 0.3 percent from the same month in 2018.
