Faraz Manan to reveal their S/S 2013 fabric collection with brand ambassador Karisma Kapoor
LAHORE: Following the success of their S/S 2012 print collections, leading textile house Crescent and acclaimed couturier Faraz Manan collaborate once again this year to launch another collection under the Crescent Lawn - Faraz Manan 2013 brand in March.
With the elegant actress Karisma Kapoor revealed as their brands’ ambassador for a second year running, the Crescent - Faraz Manan S/S 2013 collection draws inspiration from the nature of such a sub-continental woman, who represents a harmony between the eclecticism of the West and the culture of the East. For Crescent Lawn - Faraz Manan 2013, Lawn, Pure Chiffon, Specialized Jacquard Weaves, Chicken Kari, Pure Satin, Customized Digital Prints and Embroidery have all been used to bring out over 15 aesthetically designed prints for the Crescent - Faraz Manan woman.
Speaking about his S/S 2013 collaborative collection with Crescent fashion designer Faraz Manan said, “This is a collection for which I am extremely excited. Having enjoyed the tremendous success for both of our collections last year, we're taken on the challenge of creating an even better line for 2013, combining the best elements and learnings from the previous two collections. I am confident that this will be our biggest collection to date.”
Speaking about her continued association with Crescent – Faraz Manan and the collection, brand ambassador Karisma Kapoor said, “I am glad to work with our friends from the other side of the border yet again! I am excited to see how we shoot it this time around. Having done this in the past, I feel a sense of connect with the brand and the fashion philosophy it embodies. The colours, designs and fabric are all something I have advocated in the past, and continue to do so this time around as well.”
Further details about Crescent – Faraz Manan S/S ’13 including collection information, price ranges and retail will be available in February 2013.
