LONDON: British and Dutch gas prices opened up to 10 percent higher on Friday morning after supply from Norway dropped.
British gas for May and June delivery was up 10 percent at 0647 GMT while Dutch gas for May delivery was up 7 percent.
Flows through the Langeled pipeline to Britain have fallen to 20 million cubic metres (mcm), Refinitiv Eikon data shows, though no specific reason has been cited.
"The decrease in Langeled indicates removal up to 900 mcm in April for commercial reasons," Refinitiv gas analysts said.
