KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid surprise visits to different areas and expressed displeasure over parking of vehicles car showroom vehicles on roads.

The chief Minister along with Minister Local Government Saeed Ghani and his Advisor Murtaza Wahab visited different areas such as Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Tariq Road, Khalid bin Waleed Road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Khudadad Colony and Saddar area.

The chief minister during his visit to Shahrah-e-Quaideen called DIG Traffic and Commissioner Karachi and told them that car showroom owners have grabbed the main road and service lane by parking their vehicles.

He asked  for removing of these vehicles from the main roads and service lanes.

Shah also directed Commissioner Karachi to call all the Municipal Commissioners of DMCs and direct them to ensure proper cleaning of their areas. “Garbage is strewn in streets and the DMCs seem to be in slumber,” he said.

He also visited two under passes being constructed on Shahrah-e-Quaidin at Tariq Road and Khalid Bin Waleed Road Interchanges. He reviewed the progress and quality of the work and directed the PD on phone to ensure completion of the work by end of June 2019.

The chief minister during his visit to Saddar took a view of Empress Market where a compound wall was being constructed. He also issued directives for proper and smooth flow of traffic in Saddar.
