MOSCOW: The Russian economy ministry said on Tuesday it expects the rouble to average 65.1 versus the dollar in 2019, a revision from 66.4 roubles per dollar seen in the previous set of forecasts released in March.
The economy ministry said it kept its gross domestic product growth forecast for 2019 at 1.3 percent, while lifting an average price for a barrel of Urals crude blend to $63.4 from $62.8 seen earlier.
The ministry also said it expected annual consumer inflation to peak at 5.3 percent in March before slowing to 4.3 percent in December.
