A division bench, headed by SHC chief justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh, heard the case pertaining to the investigation in 13,00 acres of occupied land of forest department Sindh and handed over the investigation to a senior officer of the NAB.

The SHC CJ remarked that the way you (Imtiaz Ruk) was doing investigationt was enough to end your job. ‘’Have you paid visit to the land on which you are investigating,’’ the justice remarked.

Ruk stated that he had paid the visit to the land along with script.  The justice asked: ‘’How many trees have been planted on the land and where is forest department’s register?’’

The court directed the Investigation Officer (IO) Imtiaz Ruk to submit memo on which investigation’s record is written.  ‘’You do not have right to be NAB’s IO, in the way you are investigating; even a police constable can do proper investigation, ’’ the justice said.
