Opposition should play constructive role, avoid agitation: Firdous
ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the opposition should play a constructive role and avoid agitation.
Talking to a private news channel, she said that the government does not want any clash with opposition.
She asked the opposition to come into the Parliament with useful suggestions and recommendations as it was the best forum to resolve issues.
She said the government has fulfilled the demand of the opposition and appointed Shahbaz Sharif as Chairman Public Account Committee, now it is his responsibility to come into the parliament and play his role.
To a question, she said Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to China would prove to be a game changer for the country.
She said Prime Minister Imran Khan is striving to improve the lives of poor masses and taking prudent measures to bring the economy of the country on track.
