ISLAMABAD: The Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that the incumbent government is striving hard for the welfare and prosperity of the common people in the country as the national development is linked with the progress of the common people.
He appreciated the public friendly policies of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
He expressed these views while talking with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar who called on him here at the Parliament House on Thursday.
The Speaker said that Punjab is the largest province population vise and the growth of the economy of this province will affect positively the largest number of common people of the country.
He said that cooperation in the field of legislation among National and Provincial Assemblies can bring positive changes across the nation.
He also appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for his policies and objective of making development agenda for the most needy and deserved classes of the provinces.
Asad Qaiser said that the affectees of the latest torrential rains and unprecedented seasonal changes in the Punjab province should be compensated.
He stressed the need of inclusion of opinion of public representative in development projects and welfare services for the people of province.
He said all political parties are united in the National Assembly on matters of national importance and present Parliament is making legislative efforts for uplifting the status of common people and eradication of unemployment, poverty, terrorism and corruption from the country.
He praised the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for his honesty, dedication, and commitment to work an expressed complete confidence on his leadership.
