LONDON: Benchmark diesel refining margins in northwest Europe fell sharply on Tuesday as concerns over contaminated crude through the Druzhba pipeline began to subside.
* Polish refiner Lotos expects to receive normal quality oil from Russia in the coming days, the company's deputy chief executive said on Tuesday.
* The situation at PKN Orlen's refineries in Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania is stable, deputy head Zbigniew Leszczynski said during a panel discussion in the southern Polish city of Katowice on Tuesday.
* Imports of gasoil and diesel in the Mediterranean basin could be 160,000 barrels per day (bpd) lower year on year in 2019 at roughly 540,000 bpd, consultancy FGE Energy said.
* Imports were revised 25,000 bpd lower than previously expected.
* FGE forecasts Turkey's gasoil/diesel demand to contract by 30,000 bpd, or 6%, year on year amid an economic slowdown.
