ATHENS: Greece coach Angelos Anastasiadis invited 25 players to the squad on Tuesday in preparation for a friendly against Turkey this month and Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Italy and Armenia in June.
Selected for the first time was 26-year-old Asteras Tripoli defender Giannis Kotsiras.
Anastasiadis picked four players from Olympiakos, three from AEK Athens and two each from Super League champs PAOK Thessaloniki and Aris Thessaloniki.
Missing from the squad are injured Kostas Mitroglou (Galatasaray), Michalis Bakakis (AEK) and Spyros Risvanis (Atromitos Athens).
Greece plays Turkey on My 30 in Antalya and is at home for the Euro 2020 contests against Italy (June 8) and Armenia (June 11).
The team will train in the Apeldoom, the Netherlands from May 22 to 29.
