After endless rumors and leaks, smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has announced its two latest smartphones featuring popup selfie cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor among other amazing specs.

OnePlus announced two latest smartphones yesterday - OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. While the OnePlus 7 features the exact same design as last year’s OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7 Pro is what is something new introduced by the firm with no notch or hole-punch cutouts for camera and curved 6.67-inch display, similar to Samsung’s.

Instead, OnePlus 7 Pro features a 16MP pop-up front camera, making the smartphone a true all-screen one. The firm claims that the camera is able to withstand over 300,000 openings and closings, which means that it will last for over five years with around 150 times per day, as per The Verge. Also, the camera is able to retract automatically when the phone detects a fall.

As of for the back camera, the phone comes in with a trip 48MP+16MP+8MP triple rear cameras with different focusing systems including phase-detect AF, contrast AF, and laser focusing. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor having a massive 12GB RAM and expandable storage up to 256GB. Also, OnePlus 7 Pro features a whopping 4,000mAh battery equipped with fast charging tech.

OnePlus has also put special emphasis on the phone’s AMOLED screen. Clear of all kinds of notches or holes, the screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10/10+ support, making it one of the nicest phone screens ever, reported Mashable.

Other specs also include in-display fingerprint sensor, Android 9 Pie, Dolby-powered stereo speakers, enhanced haptic feedback and liquid cooling system.

The OnePlus 7 Pro costs $669 for 6GM RAM/128GB storage, $699 for 8GB RAM/256GB storage and $749 for 12GM RAM/256GB storage, making it company’s most expensive smartphone yet. The phone will be available starting May 17, in two colors: Mirror Gray and Nebula Blue.
