LONDON: Oil refiner Preem will be compensated for contaminated Russian crude oil whose high levels of chlorides can damage refinery equipment, the Swedish group said on Monday.
"We have reached a financial solution with the supplier to compensate Preem for costs," he said, without giving details.
"According to our information the level of chlorides is now coming down at the loading port of Ust-Luga (in Russia).
