ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said the Past corrupt political bigwigs joined hands to hatch conspiracies against the chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) but accountability process should not be stopped till its logical end.

Talking to Private news channel , Usman Dar said that the corrupt elements would not be able to escape accountability by criticizing NAB and other institutions.

He said there would be no compromise on the issue of accountability and after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would also had to face the music.

It was the manifesto of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government to eradicate corruption, bring back the looted money and serve justice without any prejudice and discrimination, he added.

He said the present government believed in transparency and due to this,  no cabinet scandal had surfaced since the assumption of power by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in last eight months.

Prime Minister Imran Khan clearly mentioned that he would never compromise on any immoral activities of any cabinet minister or any PTI member to involve in it, he added.

He said NAB was an independent institution and this was a wrong perception that government was influencing NAB against opponents.

Usman Dar said the opposition parties were crying hoarse that democracy was in danger only because their own political future was at stake.

He said the Imran Khan's government was taking effective  steps for the revival of economy, and comprehensive economic policy of the PTI government would surely put the country on road to progress and prosperity.

He further said opposition parties to avoid narrow thinking and show more responsibility for the country’s interest.
