LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar presided over a meeting at his office here on Wednesday in which the salient features of the annual development programme and budgetary proposals for the financial year 2019-20 were reviewed in detail.

Proposals regarding enhancing the resources for providing basic amenities of life on priority basis were discussed as well.

The chief minister directed that the upcoming budget should depict aspirations of the people and it should be designed in accordance with the basic necessities of life.
