The Spice Girls are reuniting for an upcoming animated movie from Paramount, with all five members Scary, Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Posh returning to big screens. The film will reportedly feature the girl group as superheroes with a ‘girl power’ message.
The film is in early development with other 2020 releases. Their most famous single ‘Wannabe’ released in 1996 giving the group to worldwide fame.
All five original members of the Spice Girls including Victoria will voice themselves in a planned animated movie, which will feature original and new songs from the band, Hollywood reporter reported.
Few days back, the band made a comeback on stage with their reunion tour at Croke Park, Ireland and are due to play three dates at Wembley Stadium in London over the next few days.
This isn’t the first time the band have had their own movie. 1997's live action comedy ‘Spice World’ took $151m at the global box office.
