LONDON: Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said on Monday he continued to disagree with the change of date for an OPEC summit to July 3-4, and that he could attend the meeting if it were switched to July 10-12.
Zanganeh was quoted as saying by his ministry's news agency SHANA after a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak: "The OPEC summit will take place on the arranged date. I disagree with this change to July 3-4 due to prior engagements.
"If the OPEC summit is moved to July 10-12 I will have no problem and will attend," he added.
