NEW YORK: U.S. Treasury yields fell in early U.S. trading on Tuesday as global bond markets rallied on comments from European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi hinting at more possible stimulus if regional inflation fails to pick up towards its target.
Benchmark 10-year Treasury yields hit 2.016pc, their lowest levels since September 2017 before retracing back up to 2.035pc. Thirty-year yields fell to 2.513pc, their lowest since October 2016.
