System reformation under way to provide relief to public: CM
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that under the vibrant leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is moving towards its real destination.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that the system was not rectified in the previous governments' tenures to provide facilities to the public, as the outdated system had failed to provide any relief to the public.
"We are fixing the issues, created by the previous governments, and reforms are being introduced to improve the system," he added.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would develop organisations and it would bring such reforms which would surely provide relief to the common man. In order to uplift the life of common man, the government will have to change the old system, he said and added that the PTI politics were based on public service.
He said that those who were claiming public service plundered the national resources and brought the economy at the verge of disaster.
He said that the wrong policies of the previous governments caused irreparable loss to Pakistan. Despite the worst economic conditions inherited by the PTI government, it opted for concrete measures for economic improvement.
The CM said that the era of plunder and loot had gone as we considered ourselves guardians of the national resources.
He said that New Pakistan was based on new ideas and the PTI government would not allow anybody to hinder the journey of development. He said: "Our vision is to eliminate differences between the poor and the rich."
The CM said that the PTI government had laid the foundations of transparent Pakistan. He said that work was being done day and night in order to come up to expectations of the public.
He said that Pakistan was now blessed with a genuine leadership in the shape of Imran Khan. "We are here to serve the public and will continue our mission forever," he concluded.
