Aamir Liaquat trolls ‘major’ Adnan Sami over his message of Indo-Pak peace
As all eyes were on Indian cricket team last Sunday as Pakistan’s World Cup position was based on their win, singer Adnan Sami said he was 'loving the way Pakistanis supported the Indian team'. However, it didn’t go down well with TV host-turned-politician Aamir Liaquat who trolled him for it.
Pakistan's position would have grown stronger in the World Cup if the Indian cricket team had won against England. Hence, many Pakistanis were hoping India would beat England in the crucial match.
Spreading the message of peace, the former Pakistani citizen Sami took to Twitter to praise the support of Pakistanis for Indian team. “Loving the vibe in the stadium and around the world with Pakistani fans supporting India in today’s match! God bless peace, love and brotherhood! There’s nothing more beautiful than loving each other,” he wrote.
Replying to his tweet, Liaquat give a hilarious response saying, “Major Sahib please focus on the duties assigned by Pakistan Inteligence Agencies to You. Do not forget that you have an honorary rank of Major”.

Sami is often trolled and has been referred to by many social media users as ‘Pakistani agent’ to India. Twitter has also given him the name ‘Major Adnan Sami’.
