ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached 2.115 million tonnes between Oct. 1 and July 7, exporters estimated on Monday, up about 11 percent from 1.904 million tonnes during the same period last season.

About 7,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to Abidjan port and 10,000 tonnes to San Pedro between July 1 and July 7 for a total of 17,000 tonnes, down from 20,000 tonnes during the same week last season.

Ivory Coast's 2018/19 October-to-March main crop ended with 1.660 million tonnes on March 31, according to CCC official data.

Cocoa beans arrivals at the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro reached 476,000 tonnes between the start of the mid-crop on April 1 and July 7, up from 411,000 tonnes during the same period last season.
