Hamza Ali Abbasi defends Iqra Aziz, Yasir Hussain for their PDA at LSA 2019

Reacting to all the criticisms on Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain’s live proposal in Lux Style awards, Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi came to their rescue and schooled the trolls for disrespecting the actors over the ‘halal’ marriage proposal.

The ‘Waar’ actor took to Twitter to defend Yasir’s 'excessive' PDA to Iqra on a public forum. “In an era when people prefer haraam over halal, how can you find faults in a man asking a woman for nikkah? Because he hugged her or kissed her on the cheek? Stop it! Instead celebrate the good,” he wrote.

Their proposal took the internet by storm, but for all the wrong reasons. The videos of the new Pakistani couple embracing each other after the proposal have been making rounds on the internet since yesterday.

Hamza has time and again slammed item numbers in Pakistani movie due to religious restriction. People are now also questioning his hypocrite statement on Iqra-Yasir issue. He  defended his stance in an another tweet saying that he boycotted item numbers but never bashed actors based on their 'personal faults'.
