ECB appoints three to banking supervision board

FRANKFURT: The European Central Bank said on Thursday it had appointed Edouard Fernandez-Bollo, Kerstin af Jochnick and Elizabeth McCaul to represent it on the board of its banking supervision arm.
Fernandez-Bollo currently works for the French banking watchdog while af Jochnick is the first deputy governor of the Swedish central bank. McCaul works for IBM-owned consultancy firm Promontory Financial Group Europe.
