KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail here on Monday invited organizations from Japan to help enhance capacity building of the local youth in the realm of modern technology.

Talking to a four-member Japanese delegation of Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTCS), he said both federal and provincial governments are equally focused towards infrastructure development in the industrial sector as well as in other associated spheres.

This, he said was critically needed by quality education and update training of the youth as well as young workers so as to make optimum of the efforts and help country move towards progress and development.

Joji Tateishi, the Managing Director of AOTCS, leading the delegation said the company is actively engaged in running series of short to long term courses for young industrial workers.

This, he said was coupled with training programs for professionals working in managerial cadres at different Japan funded projects, with major focus on sensitizing them about related practices of industries owned and run under Japanese technology.

Governor of Sindh suggesting coordination between Japanese companies and technology training institutions in the province assured all required support to the sponsorers of these programs.

He particularly appreciated AOTCS for holding a two day seminar in close coordination with Employees Federation Pakistan for senior executives from corporate sector.

"This is definitely a need of hour and must be continued on sustainable basis," he said.

Majyd Aziz. President, Employees Federation of Pakistan also present on the occasion mentioned that his organization in coordination with Common Wealth will hold a symposium on Hospitality, Tourism and Hotel Management at Karachi in December this year.
