Anoushey, Mooro, Eva zu Beck defend YouTuber Ukhano against rape allegations
Pakistani YouTuber Umar Khan a.k.a Ukhano has become the talking point on social media after many girls have come forward with sexual harassment accusations against him. Ukhano, however, has termed all the allegations against him 'baseless', claiming that he has evidences to prove his innocence.
Although Ukhano is yet to give his evidences, the social media has been divided over the accusations against him, especially after the alleged victims have shared screenshots of their alleged 'inappropriate' conversations of Ukhano.
Ukhano's friends from the YouTube and Pakistan film industry have also come to his defense while defending him. Actress Anoushey Ashraf and foreign travel vlogger Eva zu Beck have backed Ukhano saying he is always respectful and helpful towards girls. Anoushey went on to say that people should not jump to conclusion until truth comes out.
Another YouTuber Taimoor Salahuddin, who is better known by his stage name Mooroo, has also come forward with his support for Ukhano. He told people to wait for evidences and let truth prevail and that 'judgments should not be made based on emotions and social media outrage'.
It all began with a now deleted social media post of a girl who alleged how Ukhano tried sexually harassing her. The post soon was picked up on Twitter and instantly started gaining heat as more and more women came forward with their stories of Ukhano's alleged sexual misconduct.
Soon after, Ukhano dismissed all the claims, in a video on his social media accounts and an interview to a local blog, and said he never made any of his female clients uncomfortable. “Anyone that has known me, even for a brief time, knows that respect for both men and women is the basis on which we work together,” he claimed.
