HONG KONG: China's central bank said on Friday it will maintain a prudent monetary policy and implement appropriate counter-cyclical adjustments to fend off financial risks.
The People's Bank of China (PBOC) reaffirmed in a report on its website its stance that prudent monetary policy should neither be too tight nor too loose, and it vowed to keep M2 and social financing growth in line with nominal gross domestic product growth.
