PARIS: European Union soybean imports over July 1-21 - the first three weeks of the 2019/20 season - came to 897,000 tonnes, up 81pc compared with the same period last year, European Commission data showed on Monday.
EU 2019/20 soymeal imports had reached 1.2 million tonnes by July 21, up 49pc on the same time a year earlier, while EU palm oil imports stood at 171,000 tonnes, down 45pc on the previous year, the data showed.
