MOSCOW: An upper limit should be set on compensation claims stemming from the contamination of Russian oil, Maxim Grishanin, first vice-president of pipeline operator Transneft, told the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper in an interview.
Transneft has not yet received any official compensation claims from foreign operators of the Druzhba pipeline and no mechanism has yet been set up to deal with such claims, he said.
