Shoaib Akhtar joins Brett Lee in asking ICC to reverse decision on new Test kit

Pakistani ex-fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has joined his former speed rival Brett Lee to urge the International Cricke

Pakistani ex-fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has joined his former speed rival Brett Lee to urge the International Cricket Council (ICC) to reverse its decision of introducing the player’s name and number on Test kit.

“Player's name and number on the white Test Match kit looks awful. Should not be there. Takes away from the traditional spirit in which the game is played. This decision should be reversed,” tweeted Akhtar.

Earlier, former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee too gave his disapproval calling the ICC’s decision ‘ridiculous,’ and said, “I am strongly against the players numbers and names appearing on the back of Test cricket shirts”.
