‘Hobbs and Shaw’ post-credit scene hints at Ryan Reynolds joining the ‘Fast’ franchise
‘Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw’ has been released and is being liked by most of the audiences as its early box office numbers suggest. It has also received mostly positive reviews from the masses. Interesting thing is the movie’s post-credit scene hint the ‘Deadpool’ actor Ryan Reynolds joining the famous ‘Fast’ franchise.
The movie is built around the big bromance energy that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw flexed in Fast 7 and Fast 8. They reprise their Fast & Furious roles for the franchise's first spin-off. Hobbs & Shaw also stars Idris Elba as the villain.
The movie also features a few cameos, most notably from Ryan Reynolds. Ryan is playing Hobbs’ best friend in the post-credits scene of the movie. His cameo leads to speculations of the actor's addition in the ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ sequel.
Ryan essays the role of CIA agent Locke, calls Hobbs to inform him about a new virus, which is expected to be tackled in the sequel. Out of nowhere, Ryan character begins ranting about ‘Game of Thrones’. The actor switches gears to ‘Deadpool’ character and ends up revealing the ending of the show. He says, "Jon Snow had sex with his aunt and then he killed her."
Earlier, Dwayne also teases fans on Twitter about possible inclusion of Ryan in its sequel.
