DUBAI: The consumer price index (CPI) in the United Arab Emirates fell 1.49pc in June from a year earlier, government data showed on Monday.
The CPI index fell 0.03pc in June from May, the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority said on its website.
The decline in CPI has partly reflected the fading impact of last year's introduction of a value-added tax in the United Arab Emirates, economists have said.
