PRAGUE: The Czech unemployment rate rose to 2.7pc of the workforce in July from 2.6pc in June, the Labour Ministry said on Thursday.
The growth was in line with analysts' forecasts.
The total number of jobless rose to 205,120 last month, lowest July number since 1996, the ministry said.
The number of job vacancies is the highest since records started in 1995. It has surpassed the number of people who are ready to fill them every month since March last year.
