Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrives in China to discuss Indian violations in IoK
Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived in China on Friday to discuss important diplomatic missions in view of India's recent developments in occupied Kashmir.
Qureshi was welcomed by Pakistan's Ambassador to China Naghmana Hashmi and senior officials of the Foreign Ministry. The FM will have important meetings with State Counsellor and Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi and other Chinese leaders.The FM's visit was arranged in a short time following recent development in IoK by India.
The FM will brief China about the human rights violations in IoK and India repealing Article 370 of its constitution which strips off Kashmir’s status as an autonomous state.
Speaking to the media before departing from Pakistan, Qureshi said that China is an important country in the region and he will take the Chinese leadership into confidence regarding Indian atrocities in Kashmir. He further said that India is threatening the peace in the region with its recent actions.
