Pakistan veteran batsman Shoaib Malik avoided an injury scar after he revealed on Friday that a scan found he has not sustained a fracture after an injury in Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

"Just had a scan and Alhumdulilah it’s not a fracture. The win will help heal quicker! Super well played boys, was good to see everyone stepping up like Warriors do. Congrats Chris Green on the MOM [Man of the Match]. On to the next game!” Malik informed on social media.

Malik, who is currently participating at the CPL, where he is leading the Guyana Amazon Warriors reportedly hurt his hand during a match last night against the St Lucia Zouks.

Meanwhile, all ended well for Malik after Shadab Khan and Chris Green lead the Warriors to victory beating Zouks by 13 runs in the tournament.
