Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Reportedly, Khan has discussed human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir and also ways to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

The premier also held several more meetings with his counterparts from various countries and discussed Kashmir dispute with each of them.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had also called on Khan in New York and reiterate commitment of Chinese leadership to support Pakistan on all issues of its core national interest. He said China will continue to support Pakistan in safeguarding and promoting its core interests.
While meeting with Swiss Confederation President Ueli Maurer, PM Imran highlighted the importance of resolution of Kashmir dispute for safeguarding peace and security in the region.
While meeting with United Kingdom Boris Johnson, Khan apprised his British counterpart of the latest situation in occupied Kashmir and underlined need for international community to play its role in helping address dire human rights and humanitarian situation and its attendant consequences.
US President Donald Trump also continued to offer assistance in mediating the Kashmir dispute.
