Mehwish Hayat clarifies leaked video controversy by sharing another video

Mehwish Hayat has come under criticism for allegedly avoiding a question on Kashmir for personal gains, as seen in a leaked video. The actress has since been trying to make it clarify to her fans and give the other side of the story.

The actress enraged many as people accused her of skipping on the important subject of Kashmir. However, Mehwish has shared another video from the same event in which she can be seen talking about Kashmir and misery of Kashmiris.

She shared the video on her Twitter saying, “Not that any clarification is needed. But here are clips from the same event as the leaked video where I think I am talking about Kashmir, there are several others as well”.

She further added, “Before defaming me in future look at the whole picture first. Tarnishing my image in this way will not stop me from fighting for the Kashmiri cause”.
