NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling strengthened against the dollar on Friday supported by inflows from diaspora remittances and waning dollar demand from the energy sector, traders said.
At 0845 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.70/90 per dollar, compared with 103.80/104.00 at Thursday's close.
