The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted pre-arrest bail to a man who uploaded indecent pictures of Mehran University's vice chancellor on social media.
During the hearing, a prosecutor of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed the court that Kashif Dar had uploaded nude pictures of vice chancellor of Mehran University Jamshoro on social media.
He said that FIA conducted forensic analysis of his Facebook profile, but the trial court did not grant remand of the suspect and the agency could not complete its investigation.
Justice Qazi Amin directed FIA to seize the suspect's computer and other electronic devices. The judge approved the suspect's plea for pre-arrest bail and ordered him to submit surety bonds of worth Rs 100,000.
