On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,111. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.912 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 7,870.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.942 billion, followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 856.379 million, NSDQ100 PKR 671.893 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 482.963 million, Silver PKR 354.925 million, Palladium PKR 177.968 million, Platinum PKR 154.634 million, DJ PKR 115.084 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 68.083 million, SP500 PKR 45.142 million, Natural Gas PKR 29.370 million and Copper PKR 13.360 million.
In agriculture commodities 5 lots of Cotton amounting at PKR 2.394 million was traded.
